Kinovia opens with three clear choices: log in to an existing account, join a family space using an invite code, or create a brand-new family space. No public registration. No social sign-up. Every path requires a real family connection before anyone sees a single byte of your family data.

The home screen gives every member an instant snapshot of their family: total members, number of generations, descendants, root ancestors, upcoming birthdays and any recent announcements. The generation breakdown chart shows at a glance how the family is structured — children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren all counted and charted.

Family Tools covers day-to-day needs: Blood Finder for emergencies, Memorial pages for departed loved ones, Family Map showing where members are based, and Relationship to find out how any two members are connected. Heritage tools preserve the past. Legal & Finance tools protect the family's future.

Member profiles
Each member's profile shows their name, location, living status, parents, spouses and children — all visually linked to the family tree. Voice stories and oral histories can be recorded directly on the profile. The Heritage section holds ethnicity breakdowns and ancestry charts specific to that person.

Create a family
Creating a family space is a two-step process. Step one: name your family and create your Super Admin account. Step two: add root ancestors so the tree has a starting point. After setup you receive a unique invite code to share with relatives. Every join request is reviewed and approved before anyone gains access.

Joining is a guided four-step process: enter your details, provide the invite code, link yourself to your parents already in the tree, and wait for admin approval. The approval step is not optional — no one ever enters a family space automatically. This protects every family from uninvited access.
